This year’s VH1 Hip Honors celebrates 90s game changers, including show opener Missy Elliott alongside 411 South Talent!
Missy Elliott always shows up and shows out, and the 2017 VH1 Hip Hop Honors was no exception! This year, VH1 gave us a fun, upbeat “90s Games Changer” tribute, opening with a live remake of “She’s A” by the incomparable Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott and 411 South! Choreographer Sean Bankhead, HiHat, and Blair Christian collaborated for this performance featuring 411 South dancers Sean Bankhead, Draya Woodley, Tacir Roberson, and Anthony Marquis! Futuristic black body paint and leather costumes coordinated by Celebrity Fashion Designer June Ambrose and team, being submerged under water for a whole 16-counts, and black figures defying all laws of gravity while running up the sides of graffiti buildings proved to be highlights of the show.
