Born and raised in Saint Louis Missouri, Lexington is 12 years old and began
dancing with Pinx Academy of Dance at the age of two. She is a former Captain and
Principal Dancer of the Saint Louis Dazzling Diamonds Competition and Majorette
Dance Team, where she and her dance troupe won first place in Creative Dance on
the popular reality show “BRING IT.” She currently dances with Kode Redd Dance
Company, Center of Creative Arts Hip Hop Crew, Inner Vision Dance Theatre and
attends COCA (Center Of Creative Arts). During this time Lexington has been
exposed to a multitude of dance disciplines, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz Fusion,
African, Hip Hop, Dunham Technique, Horton, Haitian, J-Sette /Majorette Dance,
Heels, Vogue and Gymnastics! Her natural talents quickly gained her recognition by
local dance companies, which led to an array of performance opportunities since the
age of three. Lexington has performed throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area,
productions including Americas Birthday Parade with Kennedy Holmes from the
Voice, Dancing In The Streets Fox Tap Stage and Harlem Globetrotters. She has also
performed for Inner Vision Dance Theatre, Spirit of Angela West African Dance and
Drum Ensemble, Saint Louis Dazzling Diamonds, Kode Redd Dance Company,
various workshops, local and out of state competitions and performances. She has
attended Ballet Initiative Summer Intensive 2016 and received a scholarship to
Debbie Allen Summer Dance Intensive 2017 in Los Angeles, CA, as well as Debbie
Allen Summer Dance Intensive 2018 in Atlanta, GA. Most recently, she was chosen
to perform as Guest Youth Artist for Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker in Orlando,
FL and also auditioned for Regional Summer Intensive Auditions 2019-2020 (ballet
and modern dance). Lexington has received numerous acceptance letters, and
continues to train at various workshops, master classes and dance intensives, in
which phenomenal choreographers notably recognize her. Her admiration is to
become an internationally renowned dancer, choreographer and performer.
