Makenzie Collier, a native of Georgia, began dancing at the age of 13. She first started training and competing in a variety of styles such as jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, ballet, and pointe. After re-evaluating her love for dance, she decided to push herself into the dance industry by re-locating hertraining to Atlanta, GA. where she found Dance 411 and was able to work with many amazing choreographers like Jeremy Green, Sean Bankhead, Rosero McCoy, etc. Makenzie became motived to work harder and since then she been on several TV/Netflix shows such as “Insatiable”, “Superstition”, “Legacies”, “The Vampire Diaries”, and many more. She, also, has had the opportunity to perform with legends such as Tevin Campbell, Jagged Edge, Ashanti, Lil Mama, Da Brat, Keyshia Cole, and several others. Makenzie has had the privilege to perform on stage for the BMI Awards Janet Jackson tribute, Black Music Honors, Trumpet Awards, and the Mary Kay Leadership Conference. When she’s not dancing, Makenzie is focused on her college work and her major in Psychology. She plans on continuing
her dance training, growing each day, and taking steps in the right direction to further her career.
